Jefferson Manor Park

2909 Farmington Drive,
Alexandria, VA

Not shaded. The approach to the playground area is very hilly, so this is a good one for walking children or your jogging stroller. The park is not enclosed, but there’s an entire athletic field between the playground and the street. Parking is in a small, off street lot. There are restrooms during spring and summer- they’re closed in the winter time. While chatting with another local mom I met there, she informed me that the playground is very popular and becomes quite crowded in summer. It looked like there were some walking trails, but I didn’t have time to explore.
