Van Dyck Park & Playground

One of our favorite playgrounds is at Van Dyck Park, 3720 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax VA, just outside of Old Town Fairfax. There are 2 playground areas for toddler to school aged children. It has a wide variety of equipment for all ages including slides, various climbing things, a rock climb wall, swings (including buckets), a fire truck, rocking animals, sandbox and more. It is shaded and there is ample parking. Does not have restrooms other than a port-a-potty. Other features of the park include:

  • lighted basketball court
  • exercise trail
  • multipurpose play areas
  • picnic shelters
  • playground equipment
  • lighted tennis courts
  • sand volleyball court
  • future location of city community center
