This playground is only available to the public during non-school hours. For obvious reasons, you’ll see more school aged kids here than toddlers, but there is a thick layer of mulch underneath and lots of climbing areas to traverse. There is also a walking path that leads through the woods by the soccer field and out to the neighborhood on the other side. Play structures are fairly low to the ground and minimize danger from falls.
The parking lot side of the playground is fully fenced but the back is bordered by a large hill with soccer fields at the top, and the access from that side is not fenced. The parking lot is usually pretty empty when school is out. The play equipment has lots of space in between which minimizes collision danger for older kids, and plenty of open space for running between the playground and the hill. Big kids like to run down the hill, but your mileage may vary.
