Holmes Run Park Playground

Holmes Run Park Playground

This playground is completely fenced in and has lots of space to run and climb. The playground surface is mulch and the sign says it’s for older children, but the little guys had a great time here, too.

Although on the surface it’s not quite as toddler friendly as the nearby Ben Brenman Park, it’s not as busy, which makes it a great bet for kids who are easily overstimulated.

Don’t forget your camera, snacks, water, and sun protection! The Holmes Run scenic walkway goes right by here, so if you’re looking for a fun stop on a family walk, keep this playground in mind.

Your best bet for parking is to park at Ben Brenman and walk across the bridge. Here’s a map: http://tinyurl.com/holmesrunpark

(Ben Brenman’s address is 4800 Brenman Park Drive. The bridge you want is the one that goes right from the parking lot at this address.)
