25% off every Monday, 50% off on holidays. Customers who apply for their free VIP card get 25% off on Thursdays. Good for kids’ clothes, excellent for toys and household items. They get crowded on 50% off days. Prices for adult clothing are a bit high for a thrift store, but they have a very good selection, so if the prices concern you, shop on a sale day.

This place is like the department store of thrift stores. If you’re going on a sale day, do yourself a favor and leave the kids at home, because it’s going to be wall-to-wall crazy. You can find pretty much anything there, and most items will be of good quality. The books are organized by subject and they usually have a section devoted to seasonal items for whatever holiday is coming up next.

This is a big store, so you’ll do best if you have a shopping plan in mind. Be aware that they do not have dressing rooms, so if you are shopping for clothes, wear something that will let you try things on over top. They may ask you not to bring in large bags, particularly on sale days.

The procedure for furniture and large items is that they will write you a ticket for you to take to the register. Check the ticket before you pay, as they do not offer refunds or exchanges. Because of this, although they will likely make it right if they’ve made a mistake, it will be a lot more hassle than you’d like. So double check first.

Also, on weekends or sale days, the parking lot will be busy. Take into account that you may have to park far from the store. They do not allow carts to leave the building, but they will let you leave large purchases with a store employee while you pull your car around to load by the doors. Just ask.
